    Since I did one for Annexes I figured I'd also do one for Industries. (I'll get into the other types later)

    The first 7 were taken from posts on HG

    nuclear power plant needs uranium,exports nuclear waste

    oil refines into gasoline

    drinking water plant. Minerals as input

    landfill for garbage

    prison for prisoners from a city. Maybe a .1 for village, .2 for town, .3 for city and .5 for Metropolis

    ethonal plant

    solar panel plant


    Anyone got any other ideas?

    Well, we do have the Industry that the Cattle, Sheep and Pigs come from. A cow would have to be restructured a bit to look like a horse......could be done...... Not sure how long it would take, be kind of a side show thing, unless it is easier than I think. Course, you ain't gonna get no show horses.

    Could also take the barn from the farm and add a horse farm sign, removing the tracker and the fields.

    Think on it, let me know, along with a time frame.

    I am working on a map and using the Furniture Factory for City Slum.
    ...and Mafia, and Dope Factory, and Dope, and Gun smuggling.
    ... and Off-shore banking.
    These are very much in the news these days and I will incorporate some of them in my next map.

    Lokius, after hours, even days of work.....tearing down and rebuilding European Stockyards is wearing on a person :Snoops , I started to work on the Cattle to Horse conversion. Decided to forget that when I remembered Rodea had horses in one of his maps Hard Labor Edited the nif, pulled the extra horses out of it and made two versions.

    I'll work on the Goods and a train car to haul them. If you have a few railroads you'd like, let me know. And I stress few as I need a choice.. I may only get one done, but it might also nice for others to have a choice. We're talking about using the Livestock Car, and any that are done will also be made for Livestock, Swine and possibly Sheep. We have ATSF and EJ&E, both of which can be used.

    And, where is you gonna take dees?

    And one last thing, I'll get the images for the Goods, but I need a few images for the sign, or the sign can be removed, or a version of both.

    Jancsika, what you are talking about could be made from almost any of the In-City Industries by using only the NIF since you don't want smoke and other operations going. The Hospital, reskinned or using one of the versions that do not have the bushes, add on a lot of dirt and grime, and you have it. There would be no growth of any of those, except maybe the Mafia.

    I have this project in mind for at least a year, but then always something else comes up, and it gets half forgotten and then when restart, I have to start from scratch again. Just like Mexico!! ::!**!

    If you're referring to a Mexico map you are making, how's it coming? If you are referring to my Mexico map, well, it's just doing fine. Like a puzzle, I have all the parts in one box(folder), it's just putting it all together, and I'm in no rush. :night

    The horse from the animated horse was used, but a part was copied from the NIF to place the horses in the corral. Yes, people would look at it the first time, maybe a few more, but they will not sit and look at the horses moving every time they play a map that contains it. It also adds to the load on the computer playing it.


    The horses are used in the Stable, which has little room to run, in the TrainCar, which has no room to run, and in the Annex, which, if you decide to make it, the horses can run into the TrainCar.

    Thanks to Barney for getting rid of some unwanted structures and unneeded junk :up , and a little crafting of my own Arteest , I present the new Lumber Company.

    It will take in Logs from the Logging Camp (in progress) and turn them into Lumber. These can be shipped Flat Car, DSC Car,(single layer) or in Containers. I just have to work up the crane for loading them by editing the graphics a bit. (Bobby, where arrrrrre yoooou???)

    Things are moving right along with the map this goes to, a few Industries a day :yippey or a few days an Industry. :Hmmmmm ...

    Should be up for testing next month! (shut up barney, November, 2009)

    Well, after ten days work Worky Hard Labor :Morning , I've finished the Lumber Mill. The next item will be working up Barneys Logging Camp into a working BB. Then the Annexes for both, which should be rather quick Hard Labor . Then on to the rest of the Industries for my map :yippey .
