Hay is someone up to creating a map based on New Zealand. Wher've got some really good bits of railway over here & im sure it would be a popular map if it was made!!!
It would be really neat to have a map based on this country.

Hallo; I think this is a question for bobby

Is there a way for moor information of the maps.I must download all the maps to she wat it is, or have I mist some links.
Example; how great the map is.?
I prefer big maps for longer rides.

No you have not missed any links.
And no for more information on the maps as the map makers did not include that information when they submitted their maps.
So for now unless someone wants to sit down and write a complete list of the information you want and then send it to me or Snoopy55 it wont be done.

I'm making a scenario based off the US East map. Even though all but one of my cities is Start Location False, the game seems to randomly start me all over the map. What's the point of Start Location True and Start Location False, if the game will just start me wherever anyway?

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks!

I know that generally speaking, the game requires at least 4 start locations for the SAMS I make. In truth, I'm surprised that your map will run. I have had maps where I wanted the player to start in one general area, so I used cities for starts in that side of the map, but it may be that if you don't have at least 4 selected as starts, the game just defaults to random cities. Try picking 4 cities and see if the game continues to select others rather than the ones you have selected as true. If it does, than I don't know what is going on. Take a look at the original US East map and see how many starts it had. I think the number 4 probably represents the player and 3 AI players, but that's just a guess. I try and use 4 or 5 so the player gets to try the map from different perspectives just to add some variety and improve the chances that someone might want to try the map more than once.

You were right. It worked perfectly. Thanks, Slider!

Oh, and I'm doing a "recreate the Reading Railroad" scenario, so I kind of wanted the player to start in the general historical area. Thanks!

Would someone be willing to create a map of the U.S. east of the Mississippi? So, basically, you can travel from Chicago to New York and from Bangor, Maine to Miami.
