    Well that is simple, first rename the .kfm of any model you want to _v3.kfm, same for the _dummies.nif to _dummies_v3.nif. (any other nif/kf doesn't really matter what they are named)

    After that go into the _trains.xml and change the <szCar>_v2</szCar> to _v3 for any engine that should pull it (e.g. any engine after the date you want it to start At 1950 1960 1970 etc).

    BUT then you need a _v3 version of any traincar on your map that this engine could pull or you will get a CTD at the station the car is loaded (copy, paste and rename of existing cars will do -glasses- )

    instead of _v3 you could name it whatever you want (_tgv, _bnsf, _v4, _smr .. its all the same), e.g. for engine specific traincars (like the TGV)

    ALSO there has to be a _v1 (and _v2 in this case) version of the traincar, even if no engine will pull them or you will get a CTD.

    Edit a V3 of any cars you wish to have. for these you need a KFM, a NIF and all the necessary DDS files for them. Then go thru and copy the v2 KFM and dummies NIF files of all the cars you did not edit in another folder. Change all of the '2' to '3' and move them back. This will give you V3's for all the cars on your map. Only the KFMs need to be changed on cars you do not edit.

    Really get drunk by these traincars files. There is not much consisticy.

    one guy uses bla_BLA_GH.Bla, then it suddenly is needed for GH to place elswhere, like bla_bla_GH. Bla.
    Not all is bad, but the NORM etc.. giving me a headache and sofar, beside Rodea's Train+Carmod (bobobo) i cant import any pass/mail traincar. Let alone one made with a CK pweese

    Whoever developed this nightmare file soup, should be... HandRubs
