Everyone give a big thanks to wingsofphoenix! I was running a search and came across this:

    Auscision_B60_VR_Modified_Loco-404-161.jpg

And figured it could not be to hard to do, after all, it is nothing but two F3's with their rears chopped off and glued together. So I messed with NifSkope and came up with this:

    Victorian B-Class - my work.jpg

I could have spent hours more on it, but Bobby agreed that wingsofphoenix might be able to do a better job. So I sent him my files and a copy. He said it might take a week or two and I told him no problem. Imaging my surprise when he came back two days later with this:

    Victorian B-Class - first peek.jpg

    Beautiful work!

There are still a few details to work out, and then I have to do the paint jobs for them, but these will be posted in the Engine's Are Us Building Blocks section and not have to wait for a map.

    Keep watching.

Well, I worked on it this evening and got a 'vanilla' version worked up. This is my Base, Shadow and hardware combined:

    Victorian B-Class - Base-Shadow-Hardware.jpg

    Victorian B-Class -Front - Base-Shadow-Hardware.jpg

I still have a few more details to work out, and a center door 'vanilla' decal to make.

If any one who is interested can upload some decent pics of particular A-Class and B-Class engines they want done, please do so. Front (either front) and side (either side) are needed.

Got a call from the paint shop so I grabbed my camera and got a picture.

It's headed over to the detail shops for logos and such.

wingsofphoenix got the A-Class over to me. I'll take a look at that and see if it needs anything done to it.

Got B84 out of the detail shop. :cheers

There is a holdup on the number boards for the nose and the sides. It seems our supplier misunderstood us and made them up as 'BEE84' instead of 'B84'. Go figure :Hmmmmm

Finally got all the parts correct, attached and took it out for a test run! :yippey Got about 45 Km down the track and ran out of fuel! Dad-blamed yard crew forgot to fill the tanks! WAK WAK

It's been released for use: viewtopic.php?p=4498#p4498

I think we'll be working on the A-Class now, and work the other paint jobs for the remaining B Class engines. There are 15 others. We'll see how many I decide to do up. There are only 11 A Classes. There are many different paint schemes and I'll try to vary them ASAP. Arteest

Well, wingsofphoenix has gotten me the A-Class worked up, and so far, aside from a few adjustments, the structure is done. The shadow map is coming along nicely, as you can see here:

    Cab No.1 end:
    victorian_a-class_under_construction_1.jpg

    Cab No.2 end:
    victorian_a-class_under_construction_2.jpg

I still have some detail to the roof to do, and the sides, among other things. But we are getting there! :cheers
